Gymnopedie No. 1 - Full Percussion Arrangement

This original percussion arrangement was written to expand my experience beyond battery writing and explore full percussion ensemble orchestration. The piece features front ensemble, battery percussion, and little bit of auxiliary percussion while focusing on musical layering, ensemble balance, and percussion ensemble writing. This project challenged me to think beyond rhythmic responsibilities and consider harmony, texture, and musical development throughout the ensemble.
